Here is an introduction to Adobe Animate published by Adobe. It is a good read. But you don’t have to read through. Just get a general idea. After watching the videos below and when you have questions while working on your own project, you may come back to this page.

ASSIGNMENT 12

Please create an animated movie (width: 550px, height: 300px) and insert it into your Week12 Assignment web page. The theme is up to you. You are not going to make the same movie as the example. Here is an example. The following elements should be included on your web page:

  1. Same heading, banner, setup, and footer of your week8 page, just change the content section;
  2. Original images inserted in the content area as the first part;
  3. Your movie inserted should include the following:
    • at least three layers plus background (0.5 points)
    • background made with color or image (0.5 points)
    • at least one layer fade in (1 point)
    • at least one layer fade out (1 point)
    • at least one image or word slide in/out of the stage (1 point)

*** When you are done, please

  1. save it as a .fla file format (This is the working format for Adobe Animate) and submit it to the Blackboard under Assignments > Week12 (1 point).
  2. export it as a .mp4 file format and insert it on your week12 assignment page (see the example). When you upload your week12, you have to upload your .mp4 file, too. Please add a link to this Week12 page on the menu bar of your Week7 page (which is the front page linked to our class page) (1 point).

Submitting your .fla file to the Blackboard is required for this assignment!! You will be graded after I receive the .fla file.
